Caribbean Airlines carries dogs and cats in the hold up to 32 kg. The service is paid: 150 USD per flight. The pet's place is booked in advance — at least 72 h before departure.

Direct flights reach 17 countries, but flying there and taking a pet are different questions: the destination country has its own entry rules.

T0 (caribbean-airlines.com, 'Travelling with live animals'): ordinary pets are not accepted in the cabin at all. 'Dogs and cats may be accepted at the appropriate Pet in Hold fee' — the only passenger option is the cargo hold.
Only certified service dogs are allowed in the cabin free of charge ('Service dogs are accepted free of charge... Certified, professionally-trained service dogs are the only service animals accepted in the Caribbean Airlines aircraft cabin') — a distinct service outside the standard pet policy. cabin.allowed=false.

The carrier's rule+

T0: dogs and cats fly in the cargo hold with the owner on the same flight ('Pet in Hold'), NOT a freight/air-waybill cargo shipment — that is described separately as 'All other animals may be accepted as cargo' and for animals exceeding the weight/size limit ('If the weight or size is in excess of this limit, you will have to use our Cargo service') — excluded from this rule per the task's methodology.
Combined pet+container weight ≤32kg (70lb); container linear dimensions up to 292cm (115in), length not exceeding 191cm (75in).
Fee: TTD 3.00/kg on domestic Trinidad & Tobago flights; USD 150 (or CAD 230 incl. tax, Canada-departing flights only) on all other routes, one-way.
The pet must be declared at ticket booking, no later than 72 hours before departure.
On international flights at check-in, no later than 3 hours before departure, the following must be presented: vaccination passport/record, up-to-date vet health certificate, export permit from the departure country, import permit for the destination, transit permit if connecting — this is NOT the notice period, not carried into advance_notice_hours.
The container must be rigid (soft carriers and cardboard cat boxes are NOT suitable for hold transport: 'Cardboard cat boxes are NOT suitable for air transport nor are soft animal carriers suitable for animals transported in the cargo/baggage hold'), no wheels, labeled 'This Way Up' and 'Live Animal'. Pets do not count toward the free baggage allowance.
