All pet dogs and cats entering Cambodia must be identified with a microchip. The most accepted form of identification is a 15-digit pet microchip that meets ISO (International Standards Organization) Standard 11784 or Annex A to ISO Standar
All cats and dogs over three months of age must be vaccinated for rabies at least 30 days prior to entering Cambodia. Multi-year rabies vaccinations are not recognized unless administered within 12 months of import.
Dogs should be vaccinated against distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and leptospirosis according to their country's disease status more than 21 days prior to import.
The health certificate must be issued within 7 - 10 days before travel and should confirm the animal is free from infectious diseases.
An import permit is only required for pets entering Cambodia unaccompanied as air cargo.
The order matters more than the list: a step done too early has to be repeated. The intervals come from the same rule fields the engine uses for the earliest departure date.
