China Eastern Airlines carries dogs and cats in the hold up to 32 kg. The pet's place is booked in advance — at least 48 h before departure.
Some countries take no animals at all: United States. Snub-nosed breeds are not accepted in the hold. A separate breed ban applies to 9 breeds. A heat limit applies: above 30 °C animals are not accepted in the hold. Direct flights reach 45 countries, but flying there and taking a pet are different questions: the destination country has its own entry rules.
