Hong Kong Airlines carries dogs and cats in the cabin up to 8 kg and in the hold.

Snub-nosed breeds are not accepted in the hold. Direct flights reach 13 countries, but flying there and taking a pet are different questions: the destination country has its own entry rules.

Cabin ('Flying with Pets') allowed ONLY on flights FROM Hong Kong to Japan: Tokyo (NRT), Osaka (KIX), Nagoya (NGO).
Return flights to Hong Kong and all other routes are not cabin-eligible — the pet travels as cargo.
Booking ONLY via the sole agent Pet Holidays (tel. +852 2287 8363, WhatsApp +852 5266 6395); not bookable online.
Pet + carrier max 8 kg; soft carrier with no metal parts (zippers excepted), max 45(L)×37(W)×21(H) cm, at least 16% of surface for ventilation.
One small dog or cat per passenger; passenger must be 18+. Pet must be healthy, not pregnant, over 8 weeks old, and wear a nappy throughout the flight.
Capacity: A320/A321 up to 2 pets in economy per flight; A330 up to 6 in economy; pets NOT allowed in A330 business class.
The Consent Letter (Form 305) is signed at booking and shown at check-in.
