Taiwan sets its own requirements for bringing in dogs and cats. From any departure country your pet needs microchip, rabies vaccination, rabies antibody titre test and import permit. The rules are the same for dogs and cats.
The titre test sets the pace: blood is drawn no earlier than 30 days after the vaccination, and entry is allowed no earlier than 90 days after the draw. Quarantine on arrival is mandatory — 7 days; documents do not waive it. Pets may not enter through just any airport: there are 2 designated points. Tests and treatments
Rabies antibody titre test+
For dogs and cats import from rabies-infected country into Taiwan, a report indicated the animal's serum contains at least 0.5IU/ml is required. The blood sampling date should be no less than 180 days and no more than 2 years prior to shipment.
