The carrier's rule+
- Dogs, cats and birds aged 8 weeks or older are allowed in cabin only, on both domestic and international flights.
- Combined weight of pet plus carrier must not exceed 9 kg.
- Carrier: sum of three dimensions under 100 cm, width no greater than 37 cm, height no greater than 23 cm (soft-sided carrier up to 28 cm in height if it stows under the seat without difficulty).
- The carrier must be ventilated, leak-proof, lockable and openable from outside; keep it under the seat in front of you.
- Removing the pet from the carrier in the cabin is strictly prohibited.
- A single adult passenger may travel with only 1 pet; up to 6 pets are allowed per aircraft.
- Booking is mandatory: international flights must be booked through the call center 1599-1500; online check-in is not available.
- International fees: Japan/China (Shandong) KRW 70,000 (~USD 70); Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, China (excl.
- Shandong), Russia, Mongolia KRW 85,000 (~USD 85); Southeast Asia, Guam, Saipan KRW 100,000 (~USD 100), per segment.

Jeju Air publishes an official list of 15 dog breeds (and their mixes) banned from transport: Tosa, American Pit Bull Terrier / Pit Bull, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Bull Terrier, Rottweiler, Mastiff, Laika, Ovcharka (Caucasian Shepherd Dog), Kangal, Wolfdog, Doberman Pinscher, Miniature Bull Terrier, American Bully, Cane Corso — including their mixed breeds. There is no brachycephalic-specific ban, and since pets travel in the cabin only there is no cargo-hold heat risk. General exclusions: aggressive, unstable, ill/odorous, pregnant or sedated animals are not accepted.
