The sum of the container's three dimensions must not exceed 203 cm; larger crates must move via the air-cargo channel, not as baggage.

The passenger must personally bring the animal to the airport no later than 90 minutes before scheduled departure to check in - that is a show-up deadline, not the advance_notice_hours field.
Documents: domestic flights need a quarantine certificate from a county-level or higher authority; international/regional flights need valid export/import/transit documents per the destination country's requirements.
