Aeroflot carries dogs and cats in the cabin up to 8 kg and in the hold up to 50 kg. The service is paid: 3800 RUB per flight. The pet's place is booked in advance — at least 6 h before departure.

Snub-nosed breeds are not accepted in the hold. Direct flights reach 19 countries, but flying there and taking a pet are different questions: the destination country has its own entry rules.

The carrier's rule+

Two cabin placements, and both the weight limit and the price depend on which.
UNDER THE SEAT in front — pet plus carrier up to 8 kg; hard carrier up to 44×30×26 cm or soft (sum of three sides ≤126 cm); book 6 hours ahead; from 3,800 RUB. ON THE ADJACENT SEAT — up to 15 kg; hard carrier up to 50×35×30 cm and semi-rigid up to 50×35×32 cm in Comfort and Economy, up to 50×40×30 and 50×40×40 cm in Business; book no later than 36 hours ahead.
IMPORTANT: the adjacent seat is not charged as a pet fee but at an adult passenger's fare and taxes — effectively a second ticket.
On the Boeing 777 Retrofit a pet on a separate seat in Business is not permitted.
One passenger may carry TWO containers at once (on a seat and under the seat), up to 3 small animals, kittens or puppies each — up to 6 pets in total.
Window or middle seats in the centre block; not at emergency exits.
Airport-counter check-in only (SVO terminal B, desk #315).
Birds, ferrets, mini-rabbits, hedgehogs and small primates are also accepted.
Documents: vet passport with a state vet's health note issued no earlier than 14 days before departure.

Since 11 July 2026 brachycephalic dogs (pugs, bulldogs, Pekingese, boxers, Shar Peis, Dogues de Bordeaux, Shih Tzus and other short-nosed breeds) are NOT accepted in the hold on any route; the airline states the restriction is temporary. In the cabin brachycephalic dogs are allowed under the usual weight and carrier size limits. Potentially dangerous dogs travel in a reinforced crate in the hold.
